

LaBoiteaux Woods Nature Preserve and Center
LaBoiteaux Woods’ enchanting mix of woodland and greenspace in College Hill is habitat to an interesting diversity of wildlife. Which includes white-tailed deer, red and gray foxes, raccoons, opossums, minks, sharp-shinned hawks, barred owls. and eastern box turtles. Native wildflowers are also a part of this natural community and color the landscape intensely in spring, summer, and fall. There are over two miles of hiking trails, and the rustic nature center houses nature displays, animal mounts, live animals, a small nature library, and hosts enlightening nature programs. LaBoiteaux Woods offers year round programming for youth and adults to enjoy.
LaBoiteaux Woods Nature Center
LaBoiteaux Woods Nature Center is located at the end of a small residential street and is surrounded by woods. The nature center hosts public programming for children and adults.

Patrick's Park
<p>Patrick’s Park, which opened in April 2020, is named after Patrick Wolterman, a firefighter who passed in the line of duty. The project was born from the community’s need for a gathering space in the business district. Through the design process of this park, we went through community outreach and review. The first concept of the park was drawn up in 2015, then tweaked in 2017, and finally completed in early 2019.</p>
